The leader of the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology played the role of recommender and invited you to visit the charming Hunan. At the press conference, Changsha International Construction Equipment Exhibition was specially mentioned. It was highly praised that "as its international influence increase, CICEE has become an important platform for promoting brands, attracting investment and boosting cooperation. As a result, investors from all sides are optimistic about Hunan and are willing to cooperate with Hunan."

Lei Shaoye, Party Secretary and Director of Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology pointed out that the value added of all industries in Hunan increased from 914 billion yuan in 2012 to 1,416.2 billion yuan in 2021, with an average annual growth rate of 8.5%. In 2021, the value added of the manufacturing industry kept growing, accounting for 27.7% of Hunan's GDP. Three industries, namely equipment manufacturing, raw materials, and consumer goods, had grown into trillion-level businesses. 14 industries had emerged as hundred-billion-level businesses. Among them, construction machinery, rail transit, small and medium-sized aero-engines, and aerospace equipment have become world-famous business cards of Made-In-China. 

Over the past decade, Hunan's manufacturing industry has established a new image. Based on the advantages of "Three Supers", Hunan cultivated and developed the industrial chain, upgraded and built "3+3+2" industrial clusters, and created a number of Made-In-China business cards with world influence. Changsha Construction Machinery and Zhuzhou Advanced Rail Transit Equipment are listed among the national advanced manufacturing clusters. Hunan's construction machinery industry ranks first in China. 4 construction machinery enterprises headquartered in Hunan are among the top 50 in the world. Products from Hunan serve super projects at home and abroad. In Hunan, the industrial agglomeration degree of rail transit equipment industry ranks first in the world, and this cluster occupies 27% global market of electric locomotives; the scale and competitiveness of small and medium-sized aero-engines rank first in China, and its fourth-generation turboshaft and turboprop engines lead the industry in the world. 

In the past ten years, Hunan has fully integrated into the new development pattern. It has promoted the open cooperation of the manufacturing industry to form a dual circulation, and speed up the construction of a new pattern of all-around open cooperation focusing on integrating into "the Belt and Road Initiative". Local manufacturing enterprises started in Hunan and entered the world stage. In 2021, mechanical and electrical products accounted for 43.6% of the province's total exports, Sany Heavy Industry achieved international sales revenue of 24.846 billion yuan, and Zoomlion's overseas revenue increased by 51.05%. Hunan's construction machinery products have seen application in 180 countries and regions around the world.

Over the past ten years, Hunan has set up a new platform based on a high stance, gathered more government, enterprises, research, and technical resources, and introduced more targeted and effective supportive policies. In the meantime, it has strived to build a world-class exhibition with international influence, which is the CICEE.
