Follow the RCEP, Seize the Overseas Market 2023CICEE Southeast Asia Buyer Invitation Fully Launched

Among the ASEAN countries facing each other across the sea, Malaysia has always had a deep relationship with China. In Ming Dynasty, Zheng He's treasure fleet made seven voyages to the western world across the oceans and seas, five of which passed Malacca. With the implementation of the RCEP framework Agreement, Chinese enterprises have set their sights on Southeast Asian markets.

On December 12th, Lin Jianwen, the Southeast Asia Commissioner of the Organizing Committee of the China-Changsha International Construction Equipment Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as CICEE) visited the Malaysia Heavy Construction Equipment OwnersAssociation and officially sent an invitation to the members of the association to participate and make purchases in the 2023 CICEE, after which the two parties reached a preliminary intention regards of joining the exhibition. Thereupon the organizing committee started the exhibition invitation to ten Southeast Asian countries in an all-round way.

In recent years, with the development of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, China's construction machinery products become very popular with customers in ASEAN countries, and the demand for China's construction equipment is also surging. Southeast Asia has become one of the most important overseas markets for China's construction machinery equipment.

With more than 30 years of development, the Malaysia Heavy Construction Machinery Owners' Association now has more than 500 member enterprises engaged in the sales of engineering construction equipment and second-hand equipment, equipment leasing, and import and export of components and parts. It is an important representative organization of the construction machinery industry in Malaysia.

During the meeting that day, Commissioner Lin Jianwen introduced the features and highlights of CICEE as a "world-class construction machinery exhibition" to the Malaysian Heavy Construction Machinery Owners Association in detail.

Leong Foo Yew, president of the Malaysia Heavy Construction Machinery Owners' Association, said that the demand for construction machinery in Malaysia is strong, and the association will convene its members to visit the exhibition then to learn about the development trend of global construction machinery.

At present, the organizing committee is continuing its journey of visiting industry associations in ten Southeast Asian countries to increase the invitation of professional audiences.

The 2023 CICEE will be held at Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center from May 12th to 15th, 2023. With a total exhibition area of 300,000 square meters, there will be 1,800+ exhibitors and 300,000+ professional visitors, and 30+ international high-end forums held at the same time. The exhibition will go to a higher level in the aspects of globalization, specialization, and marketization, thus providing a professional platform for various domestic and international enterprises.
