Hunan Construction Machinery Industry Cooperation Matchmaking Held – 2027 CICEE Global Brand Tour Visits Suizhou, China’s Capital of Special Vehicles

July 9 saw the Hubei stop of the "10 Countries, 100 Cities, 1,000 Enterprises Global Brand Tour" for the 2027 Changsha International Construction Equipment Exhibition (CICEE). The event was hosted alongside the 2026 Hubei-Hunan Construction Machinery Industry Cooperation Matchmaking Conference in Suizhou, known as China’s Capital of Special Vehicles.

Since 2021, CICEE has set up dedicated zones for disaster prevention equipment, emergency gear and road transport machinery. For three straight editions, MIIT and the Ministry of Emergency Management have held high-level industry summits concurrently with the show. This has built CICEE’s unique integrated service model combining exhibitions, industry summits and supply-demand matching.

For 2027 CICEE, the three featured zones will be upgraded, plus a new special engineering vehicle section. Together, the four dedicated zones will form a one-stop global exhibition platform covering the full industrial chain of disaster prevention, emergency, road transport and special vehicles. The expo will adopt an integrated development model of "construction machinery + special vehicles + transport equipment + emergency rescue". Relying on Changsha’s robust machinery cluster, it will connect the whole industrial chain: main construction machines, special chassis, special transport, emergency equipment and intelligent rescue systems.

Supported by Hubei and Hunan industry authorities, the matchmaking event gathered over 300 upstream and downstream firms from both provinces. Through field surveys, expo promotions, experience sharing, industrial cooperation talks and signing ceremonies, a permanent supply-demand matching channel was established. It breaks provincial industrial barriers and realizes vertical industrial chain integration, turning separate industrial strengths of the two provinces into overall competitiveness for central China’s equipment manufacturing sector.

A batch of strategic cooperation agreements were signed on site. Six Hunan leading manufacturers including Sany, Zoomlion, Sunward, Foton Changsha Truck Plant, Hunan Hercules Intelligent Technology and Zhuzhou Gear inked deep partnerships with nine Hubei key enterprises such as Hubei Sanhuan Axle, Qixing Group, Dongfang Commercial Vehicle, Sanhuan Forging, Donglin Intelligent Mobility Shiyan, Shashi Jiulong Steering Gear and Chengli Group & Sanjiang Aerospace Wanshan Special Vehicle. The agreements cover complete machines, chassis and core components across the whole chain.

Li Qi, Deputy Director of CICEE Organizing Committee and Vice President of China Machinery Industry Federation, delivered a speech. He said bringing the global brand tour to Suizhou perfectly links two top national industrial clusters in Hunan and Hubei specializing in construction machinery, special vehicles, transport and emergency equipment, proving CICEE’s strong industrial matching capacity.

Moving forward, the organizing committee will continue the national industrial belt tour and improve regular industry matching mechanisms. It will build a comprehensive platform integrating exhibitions, technical exchanges, government-enterprise docking and overseas trade, serving as an international gateway for the high-quality growth of China’s high-end construction machinery and emergency rescue equipment sectors.
