2019: A Pioneer in Intelligent Theming, Ushering in the Industry’s Intelligent Era
The inaugural 2019 CICEE took the lead worldwide by centering on"New-Generation Intelligent Construction Machinery", kicking off the intelligent transformation of construction machinery exhibitions.
It covered 213,000 square meters with 1,150 exhibitors, including 21 of the world’s top 50 construction machinery enterprises. Leading brands unveiled cutting-edge products like new energy equipment and early unmanned & intelligently controlled machinery. Supported by authoritative forums, the event secured a transaction volume exceeding 20 billion yuan. Most exhibitors reserved booths for the next session. It realized the ground-breaking shift of intelligence from a concept to physical exhibition.
2021: Practical Application, Intelligence Transforming from Concept to Mass Production
The 2021 second edition focused on real-scene application, pushing intelligent products into mass production. The exhibition expanded to 300,000 square meters, with 1,370 exhibitors and 30 global top 50 players. Total transactions doubled to 40 billion yuan.
A cloud exhibition system featuring VR showrooms and 5G live streams broke geographical limits with 3 million online visits. Mass-produced 5G remote-controlled and driverless devices, alongside numerous new global products, were showcased. The event delivered tangible industrial value via upgraded exhibition modes, exhibits and trade services.
2023: Integration of Three Development Trends, Forging a New Collaborative Model
The 2023 third edition adopted the core development direction ofhigh-end, intelligent and low-carbon (green). Boasting 1,502 exhibitors and over 1,200 new technologies, it featured a large number of fully electric and remotely controlled intelligent products.
Themed forums covered intelligent mines, new energy machinery and core intelligent parts, building a full-industry-chain communication platform and upgrading the event into a hub for technological docking.
2025: Expanding Industrial Layout, Intelligent Technology Empowering Diverse Sectors
Building on past achievements, the 2025 fourth edition expanded its scope by adding four new sectors: emergency, mining, agricultural and transportation equipment, covering multiple application scenarios.
There were 1,860 exhibitors, and over 60% of all products were equipped with intelligent control systems. Relevant forums extended to smart mining, digital agriculture and intelligent emergency response. The event evolved from a traditional construction machinery show into a comprehensive exhibition for the full large equipment industry chain.
2027: Embracing New Productive Forces, Full Industrial Chain Smart Connectivity for New Positioning
Looking ahead to 2027, CICEE will complete strategic upgrading to build a global launch hub for intelligent equipment. Over eight years and five sessions, CICEE’s development mirrors the global construction machinery industry’s shift from traditional mechanization to digital, intelligent and low-carbon operation.
